Insp-ECT

Purposes and history

International Network for Sharing Practices on Electrochemotherapy (InspECT)

InspECT was formed in 2008 in order for medical teams working with electrochemotherapy to be able to meet and discuss issues related to the use of electrochemotherapy.

A high priority is a database, where treatment data from the centers can be collected. Each center has the control of the data obtained, but it is an aim that the network will give rise to collaborative publications since all the data are entered in the same database, and continuously monitored according to GCP procedures.

It is our aim to bring faster and better treatment to patients by publishing high quality research and by networking for continuous training in the field.

InspECT is supported by IGEA (Carpi, Italy) in terms of upkeep of the database and support for meetings, but the forum is formed and maintained by active clinicians.
